Horse meets Home

by Anna on August 24, 2012

I introduce to you: A concept board for the project of my newest client. A friend of mine just purchased a condo in Del Mar and I just had to get a start on bringing together some ideas. I’m loving the fact that she wants to incorporate some quirky horse paraphernalia into the living area- its really going to add some personality and fun! I’d like to mix some modern pieces with rustic equestrian pieces and tie it all together using sleek blue and rusty orange. I think we will definitely have a good time pulling off this look while also working within a budget. Here is my take on the MODERN EQUESTRIAN LOOK……

The perfect PALLET

by Anna on August 13, 2011

Have you ever walked past an alley and noticed wood shipping paletts just laying around ready to be tossed into the landfills? I sure have and I always think what a waste it is. I’ve even considered taking them home a few times but declined thinking I wouldn’t know what to do with them. Well… here you go! If you or I ever pass by that dumpster again and see those precious gems now we know what to do :) Happy pallet hunting! Send me your pics if your happen to make anything!

UpCycled and Fabulous.

by Anna on May 24, 2011

I am always so impressed with all the talent found on the website esty.com Check out this shop called Mudpuppy that features alien-like plants that actually grow upside-down. Amazing!

Re-Purposed Tupperware? How cool! These would definitely make a whimsical statement in a kitchen or even hanging above tables in a fun little restaraunt. Check out GusNboots shop.

Lastly, take a look at this assortment of Upcycled wall decor.

Top left is a picture frame made out of Upcycled magazine pages by ColorStoryDesigns.  Top right picture is an upcycled frame turned into an erasable drawing board by REEDLOVE. Bottom left is artwork that is made from reused book pages by PRRINT. Bootom right is a set of hooks made from old spoons…Isn’t that great!?… by jjevensen.
